Food Service Counter at the Integrative All-Day School in Oberwiehl

OIGO – the Open Integrative All-Day School in Oberwiehl – provides reliable all-day care for children attending the local primary school and the school for language support. In addition to study periods and a wide range of leisure activities, having lunch together is an integral part of the daily routine.

For the refurbishment of the food service area, we had the opportunity to manufacture and supply a SMART-SERVE food service counter. The individually configured system comprises a neutral module with glass top, integrated overhead heating and LED lighting, a hot food counter with overhead heating, and a cold food counter with circulating-air cooling, glass top and LED lighting. The food service counter is complemented by a plate dispenser for the convenient and hygienic provision of tableware. The front and side panels were finished entirely in the EGGER Light Oak décor. The warm wood finish gives the mobile food service counter a friendly and modern appearance and blends harmoniously into the school environment.

The combination of heated and refrigerated serving areas allows the different dishes to be presented clearly and ensures a smooth process during daily meal service. With the SMART-SERVE system, a functional and visually appealing food service counter was created, tailored to the specific requirements of OIGO.
